One of our dearest friends and supporters, Jake Bloom passed away this week. Jake and his family have been a part of our team since the early days and have been instrumental to the growth of our Community Food Center. Whether Jake was donating holiday food with his grandkids, encouraging friends to get involved, or investing in a better future for our community, he was a force for good and will be deeply missed.
In honor of his legacy, donations can be made here:

The Bloom legacy runs deep at The Hunger Coalition and in our community. Jake and Ruth have been generous with their time and treasure, joining our Advisory Council, hosting fundraising events, supporting key programs to keep kids fed in the summer months and making sure working families have what they need to build thriving lives. He understood the power of community, increasing impact by sharing his passion for philanthropy with friends and family. We are eternally grateful, Jake!
