TYPES OF BEQUESTS

Joining the Legacy Club is as simple as naming The Hunger Coalition as a beneficiary in your will or estate, either with a specific amount or a residual gift after your heirs have received their distributions. While these specific gifts (“bequests”) are the most common type of planned giving, there are other options–these include a beneficiary designation in a:

• Charitable Remainder Trust
• Charitable Lead Trust
• Revocable Living Trust
• Charitable IRA Rollover

• Charitable Gift Annuity
• Gifts of Securities
• Life Insurance
• Retirement Assets

We suggest you consult your attorney or estate planner for help in choosing your best options, or contact us to find out how to get the process started for free — a service for our community through the generosity of St. Luke’s Wood River Foundation.
