In these unprecedented times,
…we are helping more people than ever. Two weeks after the COVID-19 outbreak hit home, the number of families seeking food doubled. In three weeks, that number tripled. By the end of week four, we had served more people in one month than we did in an entire year through our food pantry in 2019. Even now, as restrictions have been lifted and life for some is returning to normal, we are still operating at over twice the capacity as before.
We have already exceeded our fiscal year food budget (ending June 30) and are preparing for this level of need to be the new normal. Your donations help us respond to the growing demand for emergency food and maintain our level of service to vulnerable families. Check out this beautifully long list of your friends and neighbors who have joined together to support local people struggling through this crisis.
